Analytical instrument
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000552
A device or apparatus designed to perform chemical analysis by measuring physical or chemical properties of a sample. These instruments convert a chemical or physical property into a measurable signal, which is then interpreted to provide information about the sample's composition or characteristics. Examples include spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and mass spectrometers.
