Simultaneous spectrometer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010884
An analytical instrument designed to measure multiple wavelengths or spectral regions concurrently. This type of spectrometer typically employs an array detector, such as a charge-coupled device (CCD), to capture the entire spectrum or specific emission lines at once. It contrasts with sequential spectrometers, which measure one wavelength at a time.
