Optical multi-channel analyser

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008271

An instrument that simultaneously detects and measures light intensity across a range of wavelengths. It consists of a spectrograph to disperse the light and a detector array, such as a charge-coupled device (CCD), to capture the spectral information. This device is widely used in spectroscopy for rapid acquisition of full spectra, for example, in kinetic studies or transient absorption measurements.
