Photodiode array
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008846
A linear arrangement of multiple individual photodiodes, typically integrated onto a single semiconductor chip. This array allows for the simultaneous detection of light at different wavelengths or spatial positions. Photodiode arrays are widely used in spectroscopy, particularly in diode array spectrophotometers, to acquire full spectra rapidly without scanning.
