Multiple peak scanning
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007660
A method in mass spectrometry where the instrument rapidly and repeatedly monitors the ion currents of several pre-selected mass-to-charge ratios. This technique allows for the simultaneous detection and quantification of multiple compounds or fragments within a sample during a single analytical run. It is often employed in gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) for targeted analysis of specific analytes.
