Multiple reaction monitoring

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007661

A highly selective and sensitive mass spectrometry technique used for the quantitative analysis of target compounds in complex mixtures. It involves monitoring specific precursor ion to product ion transitions in a tandem mass spectrometer. This method is widely applied in proteomics and metabolomics for the quantification of biomarkers.
