Consecutive reaction monitoring
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002453
A mass spectrometry technique that involves monitoring a series of fragmentation reactions in sequence, typically in a tandem mass spectrometer. This method tracks a precursor ion through multiple stages of dissociation to produce specific product ions. It provides detailed structural information about the analyte by observing characteristic fragmentation pathways.
