Multiple-stage mass spectrometry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007667
A mass spectrometry technique that involves performing sequential mass analysis steps on ions, often denoted as MSn. In each stage, a selected ion is fragmented, and the resulting product ions are then mass-analyzed. This process provides detailed structural information about complex molecules by breaking them down into characteristic fragments.
