Multiple-quantum magic angle spinning NMR

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007666

A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy technique that combines magic angle spinning with the excitation and detection of multiple-quantum coherences. This method is particularly useful for studying quadrupolar nuclei in solid-state samples, as it can reduce spectral broadening caused by quadrupolar interactions. It provides high-resolution spectra for structural elucidation of disordered or microcrystalline materials.
