Monitoring

The systematic and continuous observation and measurement of environmental, biological, or chemical parameters over time. This process is undertaken to detect changes, assess exposure, or evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. In toxicology, monitoring can involve tracking pollutant levels in the environment or biomarkers in biological samples.
