Coupled simultaneous techniques
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002648
Analytical methods that combine two or more distinct techniques, where the output of one serves as the input for the next, allowing for complementary information or enhanced separation and detection. This integration often involves an interface that connects the different instruments. Examples include gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and thermogravimetric analysis-infrared spectroscopy (TGA-IR).
