Instrumental dependability
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005907
The ability of an analytical instrument to perform its intended function without failure for a specified period under given operating conditions. This characteristic reflects the reliability and consistency of the instrument's measurements over time. It is often quantified by metrics such as mean time between failures (MTBF).
