Input rate
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013195
The number of samples that an analytical instrument processes divided by its time of operation, usually stated in samples per hour. It measures sample throughput, and the statement of it should say whether the residence time of each sample in the instrument is counted in the operating time. It is a property of the instrument and its method, not a flow of matter.
