Continuous operation

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002499

A mode of analytical instrument function where samples are introduced and processed without interruption, allowing for a steady flow of analytical data. This contrasts with batch operation, where discrete samples are processed sequentially with pauses in between. Continuous operation is often employed in automated systems for high-throughput analysis.
