Batch operation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001141
A way of running an analytical instrument in which one or more procedures must be finished for a group of samples before the next group may begin. The group can vary in size and is not tied to any particular type of instrument. It contrasts with continuous flow operation, in which samples enter a flowing stream one after another.
