Discontinuous analyser
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013043
An analytical instrument that performs measurements on discrete samples rather than continuously monitoring a flowing stream. The sample is introduced, analyzed, and then the system is prepared for the next sample, often involving a cleaning or calibration step. This type of analyzer is suitable for batch processes or when samples are collected at specific intervals, providing individual data points for each measurement.
