Continuous wave laser
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002503
A laser that emits a continuous beam of light, as opposed to pulsed operation. The output power remains relatively constant over time, providing a steady source of coherent radiation. These lasers are widely used in applications requiring stable and prolonged illumination, such as spectroscopy and optical communication.
