Pulsed laser
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009677
A laser system that emits light in discrete bursts or pulses, rather than as a continuous wave. These pulses can range in duration from femtoseconds to milliseconds and can have very high peak powers. Pulsed lasers are widely used in analytical spectroscopy for applications such as laser ablation, time-resolved measurements, and non-linear optical phenomena.
