Repetition rate
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010191
The frequency at which pulses of radiation are emitted by a pulsed source, such as a laser. It quantifies how many individual light pulses occur within a given time interval. This parameter is typically expressed in hertz (Hz) and significantly affects the average power and signal-to-noise ratio in spectroscopic measurements.
