Pulse rate
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013453
The frequency at which discrete packets of ions or electrons are generated or detected in an analytical instrument, such as a mass spectrometer or electron microscope. This rate is a key parameter in pulsed experiments, influencing signal intensity and temporal resolution. It is typically expressed in hertz (Hz).
