Pulse reactor

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009674

A type of chemical reactor where reactants are introduced in discrete, short bursts or pulses, rather than continuously. This mode of operation is often used for studying catalytic reactions, allowing for the determination of kinetic parameters and surface reaction mechanisms. The products are then analyzed after each pulse.
