Pulse sequence
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009675
A precisely timed series of radiofrequency pulses, magnetic field gradients, and delays applied to a sample in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. This sequence manipulates the nuclear spins to generate specific NMR signals that provide information about molecular structure and dynamics. Different pulse sequences are designed to highlight particular molecular properties or to suppress unwanted signals.
