Selective pulse
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013537
A radiofrequency pulse in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy designed to excite only a narrow range of frequencies within a spectrum. This allows for the manipulation of specific spin populations without affecting others. Its spectral bandwidth is typically much smaller than that of a non-selective pulse.
