Two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012377
A class of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments that spread spectral information across two frequency axes, providing enhanced resolution and detailed structural information about molecules. These techniques involve a sequence of radiofrequency pulses and delays, allowing for the correlation of different nuclear spins. Common examples include COSY (Correlation Spectroscopy) and HSQC (Heteronuclear Single Quantum Coherence).
