Triple-resonance nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012293

A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy technique that simultaneously applies radiofrequency pulses at three different frequencies, corresponding to three distinct nuclear spin types. This method is primarily used in structural biology to assign resonances and determine the three-dimensional structures of proteins and nucleic acids. It is commonly employed for experiments involving 1H, 13C, and 15N nuclei.
