Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001759

A three-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiment employed for assigning backbone resonances in proteins. It establishes correlations between the Cα and Cβ chemical shifts of a residue and the amide proton and nitrogen of the following residue. This method is widely used in structural biology to determine protein structures.
