Heteronuclear single quantum correlation

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005264

A two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiment that correlates the chemical shifts of directly bonded heteronuclei, typically carbon-13 or nitrogen-15, with their attached protons. This technique is highly sensitive and provides one-bond connectivity information. It is widely used for assigning proton and heteronucleus signals in organic and biological molecules.
