Heteronuclear Overhauser effect spectroscopy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005262
A two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiment that measures cross-relaxation rates between nuclei of different types, such as protons and carbons. This technique provides information about internuclear distances and molecular conformation through space. The resulting spectrum displays cross-peaks that indicate spatial proximity between the heteronuclei.
