Nuclear Overhauser effect difference spectroscopy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008110
A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique that highlights signals enhanced by the nuclear Overhauser effect (NOE) by subtracting two spectra. One spectrum is acquired with selective saturation of a specific resonance, and the other is a control spectrum without saturation. The resulting difference spectrum shows only the NOE-enhanced signals, providing clear evidence of spatial proximity between nuclei.
