Difference absorption spectroscopy

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003161

A spectroscopic technique that measures the difference in absorbance between two samples or between a sample and a reference. This method is particularly useful for detecting small changes in a system, such as conformational changes in biomolecules or reaction intermediates. The resulting spectrum highlights only the components that differ between the two measured states.
