Heteronuclear multiple-bond correlation over two bonds

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005259

A two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiment that correlates the chemical shifts of two different types of nuclei that are separated by two chemical bonds. This technique is particularly useful for establishing connectivity between atoms across a two-bond pathway. The experiment typically involves a series of radiofrequency pulses and delays to achieve the desired correlation.
