Correlation spectroscopy through long-range coupling

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002604

A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technique that identifies correlations between nuclei separated by multiple bonds, typically two or more. This method is particularly useful for establishing connectivity in molecules where direct through-bond coupling is weak or absent. Heteronuclear Multiple Bond Correlation (HMBC) is a common example of this technique.
