HN(CA)CO
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005328
A three-dimensional triple-resonance NMR experiment for 13C,15N-labelled proteins in which magnetization passes from the amide proton to nitrogen, then through the alpha carbon to the carbonyl carbon. It correlates the amide 1H and 15N shifts of residue i with the carbonyl 13C shift of the same residue, plus a weaker peak to the carbonyl of residue i-1, and is usually paired with HNCO to tell the two apart.
