CC(CO)NH

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001760

A three-dimensional triple-resonance NMR experiment on 13C,15N-labelled proteins that correlates the amide nitrogen and proton of residue i with the aliphatic side-chain carbon shifts of the preceding residue i-1, with magnetization relayed through the carbonyl carbon and spread along the side chain by TOCSY transfer. It is used for side-chain and backbone assignment, and it shows more side-chain carbon peaks per residue than CBCA(CO)NH, which gives only the alpha and beta carbons.
