Time domain

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012063

The analysis of physical signals or mathematical functions as a function of time. This approach contrasts with frequency domain analysis, where signals are examined based on their constituent frequencies. In spectroscopy, time domain measurements often involve observing the decay or evolution of a signal over a period following an excitation pulse.
