Phase domain
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008735
A region within a multiphase material that consists of a single, homogeneous phase. These domains are typically characterized by their distinct chemical composition, physical properties, and morphology. In polymer blends, phase domains can vary in size from nanometers to micrometers, influencing the overall material properties.
