Phase diagram

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008734

A graphical representation showing the stable phases of a substance or mixture under different conditions of temperature, pressure, and composition. It delineates the boundaries where phase transitions occur, such as melting, boiling, or sublimation. For a pure substance, a phase diagram typically shows solid, liquid, and gas regions, along with triple and critical points.
