Higher-order system
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005290
A chemical system composed of more than three independent components. This classification extends beyond binary (two components) and ternary (three components) systems, allowing for the description of more complex mixtures. The phase behavior and properties of such systems are often intricate and require advanced thermodynamic modeling.
