Cause-and-effect diagram

A visual tool for organizing and displaying the potential factors contributing to a specific problem or outcome. It categorizes causes into major branches, such as methods, materials, personnel, and environment, with sub-branches detailing more specific influences. This diagram is also known as a Ishikawa diagram or a fishbone diagram.
