Isopleth
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006211
A line on a phase diagram that connects points representing systems with a constant overall composition. It illustrates how the phases present and their proportions change with varying temperature or pressure for a fixed mixture. For a binary system, an isopleth is a vertical line on a temperature-composition diagram.
