Argon ion laser

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000780

A type of gas laser that uses ionized argon gas as the gain medium to produce coherent light. It emits light at several discrete wavelengths, primarily in the blue and green regions of the visible spectrum. Argon ion lasers are widely used in scientific research, medical applications, and entertainment.
