Argyria

A permanent discoloration of the skin, mucous membranes, and internal organs caused by chronic exposure to silver compounds. The silver accumulates in tissues and, upon exposure to light, reduces to metallic silver, leading to a blue-gray or grayish-purple hue. This condition is primarily cosmetic but can indicate systemic silver accumulation.
