Copper vapour laser
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002575
A type of gas laser that uses copper vapor as the active medium to produce coherent light. It operates by exciting copper atoms to higher energy states, which then emit photons as they return to lower states. These lasers typically emit light in the green and yellow regions of the visible spectrum.
