Neodymium laser
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007816
A type of solid-state laser that uses neodymium ions as the active laser medium, typically doped into a yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) crystal or glass. This laser emits light at specific wavelengths, with the most common being 1064 nm in the infrared region. It finds extensive use in scientific research, industrial processing, and medical applications.
