Electroosmotic velocity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003775
The speed at which the bulk liquid moves through a capillary or porous medium due to electroosmosis, driven by an applied electric field. This velocity is directly proportional to the electric field strength and the zeta potential of the capillary wall. It is typically measured in units of meters per second.
