Electro-osmotic mobility
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003773
The proportionality constant relating the electro-osmotic velocity of a fluid in a capillary to the applied electric field strength. This mobility is influenced by the surface charge of the capillary wall and the ionic strength of the buffer solution. It is expressed in units of square meters per volt-second (m^2 V^-1 s^-1).
