Electrophosphorescence
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003785
The emission of light from a material that has been excited by an electric current, where the light emission occurs via phosphorescence. This phenomenon involves the radiative decay of excited triplet states, which are formed through recombination of injected electrons and holes. Electrophosphorescent devices are known for their high efficiency in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs).
