Internal quantum yield
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005968
The ratio of the number of photons emitted from the active layer of an emissive device to the number of charge carriers injected into that layer. This value quantifies the efficiency of converting electrical energy into light within the device's light-emitting material. It is a key metric for evaluating the performance of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and other optoelectronic devices.
