Photocurrent yield
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008836
The efficiency with which absorbed photons are converted into electrical current in a photoelectrochemical or photovoltaic device. It is typically expressed as the ratio of the number of electrons generated to the number of incident photons. This parameter is a key measure of device performance in solar energy conversion.
