Endpoint assessment
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003910
A quantitative or quantifiable statement of the environmental value that a risk analysis treats as endangered, such as the survival of a fish population or the reproductive success of a bird species. It is fixed when the risk question is formulated and is then tested through measurement endpoints. A measurement endpoint is the measurable response to a stressor, for example the number of fledglings produced per nest each year.
